Remember Herter's?

For those of you of age...purchased a Herter's catalog off of ebay! As a youngster I would carefully go page by page through that book. How many remember North America's finest mail order store?

I remember going to their store in Mitchell on the north side of I90 in the early 70's looking for camping/backpacking equipment. Mostly gun and reel stuff. I believe Van Dykes Restorers is now in part of the old Herter's building.

I remember Herter's, didn't get there too much as I lived quite a ways away.
