Re: Election 2014
CNN predicted over an hour ago the Republicans will maintain control of the House.
FOX just stated the R's gained 10 seats in process.
CNN is showing a net gain of 4 seats in the Senate for the R's while FOX NEWS shows a net gain of 5

Re: Election 2014
I hear that MT suit HMWAIC has called for a meeting of party leaders this Friday. I'd like to be a mouse in the corner to witness what he says in that meeting.
Will he offer any chance at true cooperation or will he be defiant, demanding, use the same tone and words he said to Sen McCain when he was supposedly having meetings on his healthcare mess, "The election is over and I won"

He will lash out like the egotistical dictator he is. I hope the new republican majority will pursue impeachment for his multiple Constitutional violations.

Re: Election 2014
Now that some of the water has receded from last night's Republican tsunami, it's important to take to heart that the Republican really didn't win or barely won, at least according to a Liberal's analysis. Just a sampling from the rarefied air of the Liberal talking shrinking heads.
"In the end, there was no Republican wave. Indeed, it was barely a ripple."
http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/nov/04/republicans-win-big-election-midterms
"This wasn't a wave election. You know, the Republicans didn't sweep the board." - Eugene Robinson
"It's not good news standpoint of the president of the Democratic party, but I lived through real wave elections." - David Axelrod
"No, it's not close to a wave" - Juan Williams
HayZeus, if you're going to whistle while passing a graveyard, one shouldn't be eating Saltines.

Just a couple of days ago Joe Biden's optimistic prediction
I am curious what he will use to wash all that crow down or if he will just bite and swallow.
"I don't agree with the oddsmakers," Biden said in an exclusive interview with CNN Chief Political Analyst Gloria Borger. "I predict we're gonna ... keep the Senate."

I suggest a couple of cases of $3 Buck Chuck. He's gonna need a considerable quantity and considering the state of the economy he should show some solidarity with the hoi polloi,

Dirtbag Harry to Retain Democrat Leadership Role
Amazing. In most parliamentarian governments the losing party, especially the majority, hold their leader responsible for a poor showing in an election. In Japan and the Orient this would be a total humilation. That said, the Congress is not a parliament, the US is not in the Orient and Dirtbag Harry isn't much of a leader so I guess it's ok if the Dems want to keep his sorry azz after all they did keep the Wicked Woitch of the West.

Re: Election 2014
Wow!! I am going to have to try to find a windshield wiper app to clear the jazz of my screen after reading this little circle jerk.
Let's try to not overlook the fact that Dems won almost every major state ballot measure contest. On everything from additional healthcare reforms, to gun control, to minimum wages. And while choosing the proper representation is important, the decisions that are made about how your life will be run from day to day that are the actual ground truth.
So by all means carry in with your like patty whack, just try not you get any on you. And for God's sake, wear protection.
