If Martin Luther King was alive today, I wonder if the progressive slime bag liberals would love him as much as they pretend they do. It is interesting when you dig into what MLK's actual thoughts were on some of these progressive liberal issues.

What truly amazing man who can express his Christian values without being derogatory. Something many of today's neo-christians could learn a lot from.

What truly amazing man who can express his Christian values without being derogatory.  Something many of today's neo-christians could learn a lot from.

That is why the slime bags don't want to be called progressive liberals any longer, progressive liberal has become a derogatory label.  They abandoned the term socialists in the 1920's because that became a derogatory label.  They are running out of places to hide.

I am sorry, I apologize.  I thought you were referring to me calling you a derogatory name by referring to you as a progressive liberal.

The evolving opinions about King have been very interesting to watch through the years.

In many ways King was a conservative. And a liberal. And a radical. Like most people who aren't tried down to a narrow political ideology, his opinions spanned the spectrum. Claiming King as a liberal, conservative or a radical ignores the true legacy of the man.

One of opinion of MLK that gets swept under the rug is what a plagiarizing jack wagon he was. From his doctoral dissertation to his famous "I Have a Dream" speech (which he ironically stole from a speech given at the 1952 Republican Convention). Good thing the personal computer and Internet weren't around during MLK's time or he might have gone into writing essays and term papers for slacker college students. What a natural!
