BarryO and his gang of idiots and environutcakes is still pushing the environment as the biggest threat to mankind. Stephen Hawking has a different and probably far more accurate assessment.

I have to agree, "what the world needs more of is empathy".

Good job Mr Hawking, some of your predictions for the future have been a bit wacky but this one makes a lot of sense.

I don't think anyone with common sense can think that John Kerry's elevator goes all of the way to the top or that Obama has a firm grip on reality. People have been aggressive to each other since Cain and Able. We are more aware of it now because the World has become a smaller place. Things are not going to change that is the way things are.

Agreed.  Terrorism has gone on throughout history and it's been dished up by all religions and all walks of life at one time or another.

Hawking should stick to physics instead of going all Hobbesian. Fricking Brits still haven't got over the English Civil War.
