No more trading Gitmo prisoners!

Post  Skeptical on Wed Jun 24, 2015 2:10 pm

The presidential directive issued by Obama reiterates U.S. policy "to deny hostage-takers the benefits of ransom, prisoner releases, policy changes, or other acts of concession.

Just thinking if that MT suit HMWAIC had made this same statement couple years ago there wouldn't have been 5 terrorists swapped for that deserter Bergdahl.  However, Bergdahl would still be a prisoner or fake captive (whichever takes precedence).

LOL, "deny other acts of concession" .. hell willing to negotiate is a huge concession.

A meaningless bit of blather. There are no really tradeable terrorists there any more. It's a classic example of "The horse is out!!! Quick, close the door!!!"
