A possibile outcome of Obama's "ISIS strategy"

His continual reluctance to recognize the group, ISIS, as an Islamic jihadist/terrorist force by saying those who equate it to Islam are wrong.

A simple Google. results in many hits and most refer to ISIS in similar wording as the following.

I will be darned, look how many times "Islamic" is mentioned.  Now we all know "Islamic" is only used in reference to either Hinduism or Buddhism, right?  

Could the MT suit HMWAIC purposely be talking a good game but actually stalling for time to trade in his position as CINC in Jan 2017 for a another position as CINC?
