How's that different than the US concerns?
Just watched a short interview of Steve Russell of Oklahoma.
Even though he did vote for the recently passed refugee bill in the House I question his rationale when he repeats the mantra, "this is not who we are" when talking about holding off bringing in Syrian refugees.
When asked why Middle East countries such as Saudi Arabia or Qatar for example don't allow these refugees he mentioned Saudi Arabia has serious concerns about their security.
Did I just hear a US Congress critter say it is OK for a Muslim country to refuse these Syrian refugees due to security concerns but is not OK for the U.S. to have security concerns??
Why is Saudi Arabia justified to not take refugees because of their security concerns but the U.S. is Islamaphobic for expressing security concerns?
