Apparently the Pentagon agrees with you, for which it has received flack from first amendment supporters from all directions.

"Terrorism" should be reserved for those who use or threaten the use of deadly force, as in San Bernardino and Colorado Springs.
That's not to say that these individuals should not have been arrested. You can't infringe on the rights of others while exercising your own. That's completely unacceptable.
