Minimum Wage Fee
I'm not a big fan of minimim wage increases. I think we need to address our healthcare first, and I feel that they are harder on small businesses than larger ones. The Walton's can afford to pay $12-15/hour. Mom and Pop stores can't.
However I'd still be interested to see how much of this surcharge goes directly to wages though....

It's just a business. They are trying to recoup the higher wages they are forced to pay their employees. What twisted fevered mind came up with the fee being applied to wages? The business is already paying the higher wage so all they are doing is getting it back out of the customers in lieu of the govt. Customers are simply going to make a decision to not patronize if they object. Liberals will, of course, flock there in support of the higher wages........... well won't they?

The A70 service fee directly references Amendment 70, which raised the minimum wage. My question is how much of that service fee is required to cover additional costs. Or is did they slip a bit of extra gravy in there for the owner as well, while blaming the mandatiry wage increase.
It would be nice if all bisinesses posted their hourly wages and benefits. Would definately make a difference where i did business.
