What is Aleppo

So said Gary Johnson when asked what he would do about Aleppo.  For those who may not know .. Aleppo is a city in Syria and often mention during the "Syrian Civil War.  Just recently may have been the target of a gas weapon attack.

I actually laughed about his illegal immigration comment when he said 'they are coming here illegally because they can't get in legally' and then seemed to excuse them as a result. The guy is a boob and not the good kind.

Johnson’s campaign committee is $1.7 million dollars in debt and owes a refund to the Federal Elections Commission $332,191 for expenditures the FEC says did not qualify for “matching funds.”

Here's what the National Review had to say, in a January 2011 interview: "If Gary Johnson were president, he would immediately cut all federal spending--entitlements, defense, education, everything--by 43% to rectify our fiscal blunders.

While I'm certainly no fan of Gary Johnson, Mike Barnicle is a lying liberal asshat and wannabe journalist  (fired/resigned from Boston Globe for lying and plagiarism) who asked the question out the blue. There had been no discussion of Syria or Syrian refugees or anything remotely relevant to the Syrian civil war in the segment. Hell, even the New York Times gets it wrong by thinking Aleppo is the "de facto capital of the Islamic State." (it's not, that would be Raqqa). NYT can't even use the correct word "capitol".

"What is Aleppo?" Mr Johnson said when asked on MSNBC how, as president, he would address the refugee crisis in the Syrian city that is the de facto capital [sic] of the Islamic State.

I doubt 99% of America knew what or where Aleppo is looking at the spike in Google searches after Johnson's brain freeze.

Johnson has never been a Libertarian or Republican. He is an opportunistic big government democrat trying to stroke his over inflated ego. If anyone wants to challenge my review...offer a single time he has championed smaller government...



I could also care less about any city in Syria...we must accept the rest of the world is a giant steaming shiste hole and stay the hell out of conflicts that will only open another void. Saddam should have been left alone after he got his ass kicked from us and Assad is no worse than the next despot that will fill his shoes.

I thought it was ground zero for ISIS but then I was watching CNN at the time.
