Crisis at the border

What crisis?

President Trump was merely performing his constitutional duty of enforcing existing laws!

"Reno v. Flores, 507 U.S. 292 (1993) was a Supreme Court of the United States case in which the Court held that the Immigration and Naturalization Service’s regulations regarding the release of alien unaccompanied minors did not violate the Due Process Clause of the United States Constitution.
In 1997, after the Supreme Court remanded the matter to the District Court, the parties agreed to a consent decree in which the litigation would end once the government implemented certain standards for the detention, treatment, and release of unaccompanied alien minors. The District Court retained jurisdiction after the settlement and the case remains open and active as of June 2018."

There has been mention of a judge in the 9th Circuit system is the one ruling children may only be separated for 20 days while the laws of the day (1997, for example) do not set limits.

Ask yourself this question, what is the most effective method to resolve a problem .... temporary fixes to hold until another area swells up or tackle it with a new solution?

I'm surprised that the 20 day ruling hasn't been rolled back.  Once that happened, the tactic is to flood the system with illegals till the 20 day rule overflows the system and they are forced to release the illegals into the country enmass. The USAG needs to address this now.  The old "It's difficult to remain focused on draining the swamp when you are up to your ass in alligators" is at work here and the Dems re dedicated to seeing to it that there are copious amounts of alligators.

The obvious answer is to formulate a policy, make it law and enforce the law.  Problem is, the next Dem in office will ignore the law that doesn't appeal to his handlers needs.  That needs to be changed too.
