ObamaCare Sucks.....but MSM won't report it

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/geoffrey-dickens/2013/04/11/lou-dobbs-highlights-mrc-report-obamacare-coverage

LOU DOBBS: You know our viewers have known from the very beginning about
this ObamaCare nightmare, but any one tuning into the Big Three
networks isn't getting access to these facts. The Media Research Center
looked into it and here are just some of their findings.

On March 22nd the Senate voted to repeal the medical device tax, the
ObamaCare tax on medical devices. And guess what happened there? I got
to write this in. ABC, CBS and NBC they devoted – well you can imagine,
because that was important – they devoted exactly this number of
stories to the issue. That's right. Zero!

Then on March 26nd the study by the Society of Actuaries, don't, I'll
bet you didn't even know there was a Society of Actuaries. I certainly
didn't. But if you're going to have a society I think Actuaries would be
one of the first things you'd want to have. They found ObamaCare will
cause a huge spike in premiums. Thirty-two percent!

Remember when the President promised there would be no increase in
premiums? Well some states seeing claims rising by as much as 80
percent.
We did a chalk talk on it here, that's what we do. ABC? CBS?
NBC? Well this is the number of stories that they committed to this
subject. [writes a zero on a chalk board] Right there, right there.

And then on April 3rd the Obama administration admitted ObamaCare
exchanges for small business to provide health care insurance will be
delayed by a year. ABC, CBS, NBC? They reported on that, exactly that.
[writes a zero on the chalk board]

And on April 4th Quinnipiac University released a poll showing 78
percent of voters expect ObamaCare to hurt them personally or to have no
effect at all. Fifteen percent who think it actually might, it might
help. You know you would've thought that ABC, CBS and NBC would at least
cover the fact that 15 percent thought it was going to be very helpful?
But once again, the watchdogs, [writes a zero on the board] the
watchdogs at ABC, CBS and NBC behaving just like poodles. Little, tiny
pink poodles.

Nope. Nothing in there about the 32%, or the almost 80% either. Got something else?
This could be good stuff to use for letters to congress, but we gotta be able to back it up, and that isn't it.

Did you ever find any substantiation for the claims in your opening post, Blade?
You do realize it came from a newsbusters blog, don't you?
They are one of the groups of:
"Media Research Center Inc. (MRC) is a conservative media watchdog group run by president and founder Brent Bozell. It is predominately funded by larger right-wing foundations (see below) with other comparatively minor sources of income from rental income and investments. In its 2006 annual report, the group's founder wrote that MRC "continued to regularly provide intellectual ammunition to conservative activists, arming them with the weapons to fight the leftist press."

Apparently, the 32% & other claims were false, or they certainly would have been bigger news by now.
Was MRC one of those entities which applied for IRS tax exempt status?

"Democrats continue to try to dismiss the evidence that Obamacare will dramatically increase the cost of insurance for people who buy it on their own. But on Thursday, the Ohio Department of Insurance announced that, based on the rates submitted by insurers to date, the average individual-market health insurance premium in 2014 will come in around $420, “representing an increase of 88 percent” relative to 2013."

Hmmmm  - - - -so you couldn't find that either, Gomezz. OK.
Blade must not be interested enough to look. He's probably waiting for some other poster in some other forum to provide the info for him.

A thousand pardons for using the word "premiums" exclusively in a previous post.  I trust it didn't spoil your reading too much.

I apologize for thinking you would have noticed almost all the references do mention costs ... including "premiums" and/or  "claims costs" but, the post will be edited solely for your benefit to read.

Look up "premiums". Then "claims". Think about it. If you still can't see a difference, I can't help you. (But, obviously Blade had the same problem when he made the unsubstantiated statement. So, you are not alone on that)
