No such thing as an independent. Anybody that claims to be one is a liberal too ashamed to admit it. It is like kind of being pregnant. There are people who believe in the Constitution and limited government and everyone else that can go straight to hell.

Hadn't ever heard that conservatives pay more taxes than liberals. I do know that the poorer states do vote republican, though.
