Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee came out the closet and admitted he was in fact a Democrat and suffers from that terrible disease of Liberalism. After getting his RINO azz handed to him in the 2006 US Senate race, Ol' Linc "Jellyfish" Chafee left the Republican party and wandered in the political wilderness for several years before making his political come back in 2010 as an Independent winning the RI gubernatorial race with a whopping 36%
mandate out of 7 candidates.

Now faced with the worst approval rating of any governor in the US (-68%) Ol' Jellyfish hopes to bulk up his anemic base by claiming he is a true, blue Democrat. BwaHaHaHa! The Dems are welcome to him but they really should run a true Democrat and not this politically expedient tool.

Another soulless politician. If he really wants to be popular he needs to come out of the closet. Everyone who does that is a hero now.
