Problems typing when the post gets long...help

When it is a long post or i'm commenting on a long post at the bottom, it won'
t let me see what i'm typing. When I click on the bottom, it auto scrolls up, and when I type a character, it shows for a spit second and then scrolls back up to the top oif the post. I f i use the scroll bar it goes down, but when I let go of it with my mouse, it goes right back to the top of the screen. It's really hard to type accuratly that way. I have found this problem on all my comps. Any suggestions?

I don't have a lot of time today to dig into it. I will try to look into it this evening.

Reboot your computer

Delete your brouser history

Delete cookies

Then and try to remember your passwords

Yes. I'm having the very same problem, and usually have to cut very deeply into a post I'm commenting on.

IE8 I believe...hurry up and get on it, thats what we pay you the medium bucks for

I am trying this post with IE9 and I don't seem to have much of a problem. I zoomed way in to see if that was the issue...

No problems with that either......

I have done some digging and nothing on the internets....

Yes. I'm having the very same problem, and usually have to cut very deeply into a post I'm commenting on.

I have not had any problems like that at all with Firefox.

Did some looking on forum info sites and it's possible that you guys may have to upgrade to the latest version of IE. There were some other problems with IE people were having, and their suggestion was upgrading.

Or, better yet, use Chrome or Firefox.

That may not be the answer you wanted to hear, but websites aren't always the best with antiquated browsers.

I switched to Firefox a few months ago and am very happy with it. Seemed like Google was getting into bed with the feral government so I left. Make them bastards at the ATF, FBI, and CIA earn their keep.

Not sure. I think it's one of the letters instead or the numbers.

I'll try going to IE9 and if that doesn't work, firefox. I'll let you know what i find

I have not had any problems like that at all with Firefox.

I just downloaded firefox and am on it now, and I am using this post as a test, and it appears to work great. Now if only they had IE9 for XP....although, just messing around it firefox, it seems to be much speedier than IE...Thanks for the tips...gonna call this problem solved. It's what I use as well.

I have tried Chrome, and it can be faster, just don't like it's UI.

I reckon one could call it laziness but the time or two I have encountered this situation I just copy and paste the post comments I want to offer a reply into Word. I then compose my comments, proofread it, spell check the reply and finally copy it to the reply function of the forum.
