Repealing the Death Penalty goes down again.
Senate committee just referred the repeal of the DP to the 41st day.

Oooh I'm real big on budgets. I'm also real big on being realistic about budgets.
The problem with the death penalty is that so many conservatives let their feelings get in the way and they waste taxpayer money on doing what feels right to them.

The problem with the death penalty is that so many conservatives let their feelings get in the way and they waste taxpayer money on doing what feels right to them.
You know, about 30 feet of 5/8" rope or a couple of 30-30 cartridges, will hardly break any budget.
What gets expensive is the taxpayer funded lawyer fees, the appeals plus the housing, feeding and medical/dental treatment.
