Old Fart Lifetime National Park Permit

Drove to Pipestone today to purchase a lifetime National Park permit for $10 since they are going up this fall to $80. Gotta be 62. This is almost as a good a deal as telling your drinking buddies that it's your birthday every week so they'll pick up the bar tab.

We did the Natl parks/monuments tours 10 or so yrs ago around the country. We have Eagle passes I think they're called. Is it still the same? When we got ours they were free as I recall.
