The Pope embrasses Climate change
This is interesting. The liberals will now renounce Christian hate and they will now be required to become devout Catholics.

It amazes me how many people put stock in what the leader of a works based religion says.

Social Justice is at the heart of the progressive socialist agenda and there are no stronger believers in social justice than the Jesuits. So, it is no wonder what Pope Francis is turning out to be.

I for one will stick with my conservative beliefs of equal justice.

social justice definition
The fair and proper administration of laws conforming to the natural law that all persons, irrespective of ethnic origin, gender, possessions, race, religion, etc., are to be treated equally and without prejudice. See also civil rights.
http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/social-justice.html#ixzz3NZNdsRlW
I'm sure my definition of social justice won't qualify as "conservative" in today's political climate but it can be found in Matthew 25:35-40, Deuteronomy 15:11, James 2:1-7 and on and on and on...
I'll look to God's word for the definition of social justice even if it contradicts the popular political definition. There's lots of room for discussion on the application of social justice but the goal is pretty clear.
Obama and the liberals talk a good social justice game but the results have been anything but just. The results have been the exact opposite of their rhetoric. It's damned dishonest but I'm torn on whether it's worse than today's "conservatives" who openly disparage "the least of these". It may be more honest but to me, it's cold hearted and spits in the face of God.

I hate to go on topic but what does social justice have to do with this topic?

Seriously? The King of Kritical Thunkin' can't connect the dots? Here let me throw you a lifeline and let me Google that for you.

Thank you for that, I knew I could count on you to be well versed on liberal rhetoric.

Re: The Pope embrasses Climate change
In other news, I googled the name Paquette and this is what I came up with......
Paquette: The one who gave Pangloss syphilis. After the slaying by the Bulgarians, worked as a prostitute. Became the property of Friar Giroflée.

You're a little slow on this one. Gomezz already brought that up in a fit of paranoid persecution complex.

It's difficult to keep all of the liberals straight without a program. They are a disgusting lot who believe in Utopia while standing in the "free lunch" line.

While you were googling, did you happen to see that pretty much all the results were people with the last name Paquette? Of course, in his self absorbed paranoia gomezz thinks that my name must be some sort of sinister attack on him because he doesn't seem to think anyone of French ancestry resides outside of Canada.
And while you were googling did you look into the author that gomezz is honoring with the name he used on some other forum? He was a 16th century French, Christian bashing, incestuous, anti Semitic, radically liberal philosopher. Not really someone I look up to but if that's who gomezz admires, so be it.
"[Christianity] is assuredly the most ridiculous, the most absurd and the most bloody religion which has ever infected this world. Your Majesty will do the human race an eternal service by extirpating this infamous superstition, I do not say among the rabble, who are not worthy of being enlightened and who are apt for every yoke; I say among honest people, among men who think, among those who wish to think. ... My one regret in dying is that I cannot aid you in this noble enterprise, the finest and most respectable which the human mind can point out.."

You're just a veritable fount of misinformation today aren't you? Ignoring the redundancies in your psycho-babble, your Voltaire quote is reference to Catholicism in particular, not "Christianity" in general. Also Voltaire lived and died in the 18th century (1694-1778) not the 16th century. His relationship with his niece is unclear. She did live with him but historians aren't certain if there was a sexual component. However if there was, avuncular relationships/marriages in Catholic countries during the 1700/1800's were not unusual nor considered incestous. In fact Papal dispensations could be had. I'm afraid you are engaging in historical presentism just as you are when trying to skewer the conservatives by claiming Volatire's Liberalism. A liberal during the Enlightenment =/= FDR social liberalism. Sorry you lose again.

It's nice to see you defend your hero.
Do you still believe that there are no people of French descent living in this region? Do you still think that my ancestors took this name in some grand conspiracy against you?

If you're feeling left out you can google the origin/meaning of my name. That should give you something more in line with your level of wit and wisdom.

Paquette your ancestors had remarkable foresight. But Gomezz why didn't you wear a condom ? The whole syphilis thing would have been so avoidable.
