Liberal Disasters - Dodd/Frank and Obamacare

While there are many liberal disasters caused by looneyleftites who think they know how to solve problems, two really stand out in my lifetime.

Dodd Frank and Obamacare.

Dodd Frank caused the recession of 2008 and we still haven't recovered from that debacle. Obamacare is the Dodd Frank of this time period.

Why is it when the leftie policies are shown to be abject failures, libbys don't learn from the past and are wont to say "this time it will work"

O'Coolanddreamy is now calling for bartenders to push the Obamacare fiasco during happy hour.

The damn thing is over 2,300 pages long and filled with many misdiagnoses from the BankingQueen Barney Frank.

Rather than blame the incompetence of liberal do-gooders, the idjits blamed the market. Of course, the BankingQueen Barney Frank and Doofus Dodd didn't know anything about free markets since they are cheerleaders for government intervention.

By ordering banks to loan money to those who couldnt afford housing, and by Fannie and Freddie being required to back up the loans, banks went wild giving away money to people who should never have been loaned money.

People over bought, over borrowed, and speculated on the market never showing down.

FYI Dodd/Frank was passed in 2010, so it really can't be considered as a reason for the '08 Recession. That said, that old pole smoker Frank was a huge advocate of the sub-prime mortgages that were a major (but not only) cause of the implosion and he certainly led the charge that resulted in the debacle of '08. However, make no doubt about, the 2010 Dodd/Frank legislation has only set the table for a what might be the final collapse of our house of cards.

I still am having a very difficult time trying to forgive liberals for the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Good catch on the D/F not being passed until 2010. I should have stressed it continued the recession.

I don't know what made me think of this little gem last night, but I remember referencing it on the old GPV.  This place is a real class act.  I always find it funny how conservatives accuse liberals of being uninformed.  Better than being grossly misinformed.

I find the "dumbasses all of them" comment to be wonderfully ironic and amusing at the same time. It's like a two for one deal.
