Selma was about Illegal immigrants??

President Barack Obama:  

The notion that some kid that was brought here when he was two or three years old might somehow be deported at the age of 20 or 25 even though they've grown up as American, that's not who we are, That's not true to the spirit of what the march on Selma was about.

So even Dr. King had it all wrong thinking it was about legal Americans denied their rights while the march was about illegal Americans thinking they were entitled to those rights??

His writers do this all the time. They are trying to work all the hot button issues into whatever BarryO is talking about at the moment. As a result really stupid stuff like this comes out. I can't listen to him any more as a result. He is a national embarrassment and someone should proof read his stuff because it's evident that he either doesn't understand what he's saying or doesn't care. But then, I know there isn't anyone with a IQ over room temp in his admin so it's pointless.
