I just bought out a contract I had with them on a jetpac, internet hotspot. We were only using it for 4 months a year and paying $80 per month for it. If you are planning to go to another service I've heard that some will pay off your penalty for early cancellation.

We finally got free of the clutches of Verizon this spring. We had a contract on a home phone, an i-phone and the jetpac. it was running about $200 to $250 per month. When the contract was up we switched the i-phone to straighttalk and bought out the jetpac. That leaves us with the home phone at $25 per month. Firing Verizon and DirecTv were both soul satisfying experiences.
The bad thing about just walking away from a phone contract is that you'll never get a phone again!!!

Pay the termination fee and be done with it.

Verisons service is generally very good. The freaking so called smart phones are a swindle  and they lie like rugs to sell them.
