It's funny that you would call this news. It's not news at all, it's commentary. Just because Faux Snooze pawns commentary off as news doesn't mean that sane people see it that way.

Re: War on Religion?
I think Jesus would chuckle at the amount of whining American Christians do over their "persecution".
Jesus - Tortured and crucified on a cross
American Christian - Whines about not being able to put a manger in front of a courthouse
I'm sure He'd be proud!

Annnnnddddddddd your utter ignorance of Christianity is on full display. Jesus had to be tortured and crucified and it was his divine destiny which he was aware of his entire earthly life. Of course, explaining that to you is meaningless and falls on deaf ears.

There are so many things about today's neo-Christians Jesus would find appalling. The fact that they would use his name in vein by putting a manger in front of the courthouse is merely the tip of the iceberg.

Re: War on Religion?
LOL. Of course one must actually be a Christian to understand the persecution they, and their brother's and sister's in the middle east face. We are blessed here in the US to not face any where near what Christians in the middle east are facing.
Anyone who promotes a video like that can not be a Christian.
Anyone who promotes a video like that can not be a Christian.

Your not recognizing what's wrong the video is evidence. Thanks for making my point.

Jesus didn't just die on a cross for us. He also gave us many teachings on the way God wants us to live our lives. Teachings that seem to have fallen on the deaf ears of many Christians today.
You should try reading those parts of the Bible too.

I'm sure if Jesus were here, his first order of business would be demanding that the city council say a prayer before every meeting. Gotta fight that persecution, it's our #1 priority!

Funny that you would call that the tip of the iceberg...when the very video you posted shows a main using Christ's name in vain.
And yet you don't know what mockery is.....

You are really more of an idiot than I thought if you are arguing that because he doesn't believe in God that he has an excuse.

Atheists are usually tolerable and easy to ignore. Maher is an anti-theist and anti-theists are all dickheads. Maher likes to claim he is all for "freedom to practice any religion you want without fear of violence" (as he stated in the meltdown with Ben "No Talent" Affleck) but when push comes to shove as in Hobby Lobby or Little Sisters of the Poor invoking the Religious Freedom Restoration Act over the ACA's birth control mandate his ardor is nowhere to be found.

Neo-Christians - You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Vein? Snicker. This is why spell check is killing the English language.
Manger? - It's a creche fcukstik. The manger is what HayZeus is lying in.
creche
manger

Horseshit. Bill Maher never said that. He said that was a liberal principle. But as you pointed out, it's clearly not part of his personal manafesto.
