Thank you Obama!  Because of you there will undoubtedly be more Christmas presents under the trees of the vast majority of Americans this year.  It's nice to have a President that knows the true meaning of Christmas.

I seriously think that the old Tax & Spender in chief has no interest in lowering gas prices. His environutcakes will excoriate him for allowing that. When the prices were going up under Obama, all you guys were saying he has no control over gas prices. What has changed?

Boy!! That video takes me back. While aboard ship in the navy I visited Midway Island. That is a major nesting ground for the Goonie Birds, aka Albatross. As we cruised from Hawaii to Midway the goonies would follow us waiting for the garbage dump. (Some appeared to be waiting for the toilet dump too.) We'd stand on the fantail and drop morsels into the water as we went and watch them swoop in and scoop the stuff up. They seemed to be able to fly forever without flapping a wing. When they landed in the wake to get something they would do their running takeoff in our smooth wake. Very graceful birds till you see them on land. Their reason for being on land is to mate and nest. The Natl Park service has declared the island a goonie refuge and any attempts at "disturbing" a goonie is reason for being slammed in the brig. We sat in the E-club and swilled suds all afternoon and watched the goonies all nite. Watching the crash landings and collisions with palm trees was hilarious. The airstrip there is a scene of carnage due to all the shredded goonies that have had an encounter with an aircraft. Only been there twice but it's a scene I'll never forget.
