Fast and Furious
Benghazi Cover-up
IRS targeting conservative groups and individuals
IRS having lavish "conferences" on the taxpayers dime.
NSA actively engaged in data mining
and now the State Department apparently covered up prostitution and possibly drugs during Hillary's watch.
So many scandals, so little time.

Seems like even staunch liberals would have a hard time trusting big government but they don't. These are all positive things to them and proof that big government does bring utopia. I hope they are slaughtered first.

Bush did warrantless NSA surveillance on foreign communications. The only domestic surveillance done was on calls originating here. Mark Levin explains:
The Foreign Intelligence Security Act permits the government to monitor foreign communications, even if they are with U.S. citizens — 50 USC 1801, et seq. A FISA warrant is only needed if the subject communications are wholly contained in the United States and involve a foreign power or an agent of a foreign power.
The reason the President probably had to sign an executive order is that the Justice Department office that processes FISA requests, the Office of Intelligence Policy and Review (OIPR), can take over 6 months to get a standard FISA request approved. It can become extremely bureaucratic, depending on who is handling the request. His executive order is not contrary to FISA if he believed, as he clearly did, that he needed to act quickly. The president has constitutional powers, too.
Obama on the other hand has expanded x10 the surveillance program to include almost all domestic conversations in the US under what is essentially a "general warrant", warrants the 4th Amendment forbids. The fact that only metadata is being collected and conversations are not being listened to are of little comfort. Read this article on how much information is gleaned from metadata.

Mainly because JT thinks the MT suit is so cool and dreamy (looks like twinkies) and is more honest and trustworthy ten anybody else.
