Problem is...he never had Congress approval and essentially broke the law and has endangered every service member going forward. Negotiating with terrorists is never a shrewd move. While I'm glad this soldier is back, the doofus has a lot of explaining to do as to why he deserted left his base for a walk about in Afghanistan.   

As for your hypothesis that this is a setup move by chess grandmaster Barry for the Nigeria girls, you might want to consider:

1) While Boko Haram has some loose alQaida ties, it's doubtful any of them are current residents at Gitmo.

2) At a 5 to 1 trade ratio we would need 1500 prisoners to affect the exchange. Crikers, we only have about 140 left after the Obama Jail Break.

Are you sure there are still inmates at Gitmo.

I clearly recall Obama declaring that place will be closed down during his first year in office if elected in 2008, so it can't still be operating.
