The War on Halloween Empty The War on Halloween

Post  Dr. Evil Tue Oct 21, 2014 9:33 am

I just found out this morning that my kids are no longer allowed to celebrate Halloween in school.  They are celebrating the "Harvest Festival" instead.  Do religious fanatics really feel that children dressing up as ghosts and ghouls is impeding on the religious rights of others?  I have also read the argument that because some children can't afford nice costumes, that nobody should be allowed to wear them.  That argument simply doesn't hold water because some if the ugliest costumes are also the most expensive and could easily be outdone with a little creativity.  One article I read even said that forcing children to look at Halloween decorations or color some of these horrible images was wrong.  What do you think?

Article is a year old but, still might be a good time to move from Pennsylvania to another state.

You mean a state where children are not forced to take part in things that are against their beliefs?

No, why?

Then explain why what was written a year ago about Halloween in Towamencin Township, Pennsylvania has any direct affect on you or your family at the present time if you do not live there.

Crikers, no wonder those crazy Dutch are so ah-feared of Halloween, the Portals of Hell are in Lansdale. Suspect Suspect

According to the book "Weird Pennsylvania," Lansdale was also once home to one of the world's three "H Trees," which are believed to mark portals to Hell. An individual had only to circle the trees a certain number of times and jump off a small cliff, on the ledge of which the trees grew. Upon doing so, the portal would open and transport the individual to Hell.

Harumph, it doesn't surprise me that people believed such things.

Hell, even today we have people who believe that:

Oswald acted alone

Bush stole two elections

Obama is a great president.

Global warming is true.

I think forcing normal Americans to accept and celebrate a perverted, depraved lifestyle is wrong and far more harmful than any Halloween issue.

No one is forcing you to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.

Only if you have guilt and/or trying to hide something is it disturbing to you!

Perhaps child welfare services should be asking where your kids are instead of me.

Perhaps if the authorities find your kids they will be allowed to celebrate Halloween as normal children do.

So now you've gone to disrespecting myself and my children.  You seem to be at your own special level of retarded, quickly approaching fuking idiot.  I would ask that you never speak of my kids again.

My guess is that he's not able to grasp the "in school" portion of your post.

Either that or he's just being a nasty little jerk.

I can't take any credit, you are doing a bang up job.  Speaking of bang up, are you still beating your kids?

You seem to be at your own special level of retarded, quickly approaching fuking idiot.
Fear not, that honor is safe with you keep.

I would ask that you never speak of my kids again.
Somebody should be concerned about the welfare of your kids. BTW, who made you the power to be to decide what is said on this forum?

So to get this straight, your kids school has banned Halloween also?

LOL, heck Jones don't even know where his/her kids are. All that is known is they aren't in Pennsylvania.
Remember he used a year old article from Pennsylvania to prove his claim even though Jones doesn't live in Pennsylvania!
