Natural Law is not the easiest thing to understand.  It is easy to accept once you hear the concept, but it is often difficult to sort thru when man-made legislation to govern us is being produced.  That might explain a few dumb votes by a FEW Republicans.  

The Founding Fathers were extremely strong advocates of Natural Law.  In fact, they used its concepts to justify their actions to separate from England.  They envisioned the teachings of Marcus Tullius Cicero helping them achieve his vision of the grandeur and promise of a society based upon a Republic and Natural Law.  They shared his belief and thought that they could create a country of prosperity and justice for them and their posterity.  We are extremely lucky in this great country and need to thank them every day for their wisdom.

Obviously, there were other noted scholars that help influence the Founding Fathers on Natural Law, but Cicero was more than likely their prime source.  Cicero simply felt that there was a Supreme Creator of the universe and He put in motion a set of rules by which the universe conforms to.   Cicero called this law, Natural Law and that it was the TRUE law.  He said that it was unchanging and everlasting and it was a sin to alter it, try to abolish it or vainly try to repeal it.

Sometimes it is easier to give examples of natural law than a definition.  However, that typically only has value when talking with a conservative.  If you are talking to a liberal they will pick apart the example rather than trying to understand the principle and how it applies to our lives.  

The two examples that are often given are that of gravity and human sexuality.  Any legislature in this country can pass a law outlawing gravity, but if they go to the top of the Empire State Building and jump off to see if the building is complying with their man-made law, they will quickly understand no matter how many votes they had in the legislature, man cannot override Natural Law.

Another usual example that is given is human sexuality as it demonstrates Natural Law quite well for a conservative because it is so self-evident.   For instance, a man and a woman have observably different but complementary sexual parts that are capable of biological union.   This union between a man and a woman can produce a sperm that fertilizes a female egg and lead to creation of life.   That’s how the laws of nature from our Creator has ordained it.  It works no other way.  Therefore, sexual union between homosexuals is in violation of this Natural Law.

And yes, Natural Law also applies to economic issues.  It is interesting that the system of Free Market Capitalism conforms to Natural Law while socialism does not.  Hence it is no surprise that Free Market Capitalism is the only economic system in the history of mankind that has generated true prosperity.

Today REPRESSIVE LIBERALS for the most part are clueless on what Natural Law is and the bounds it places on us.  However, there are also many REPRESSIVE LIBERALS who don’t like the dictates of Natural Law and simply reject it just like they do with the Laws of Natures God.  I am not sure which one Jackoff Jones is, but probably the clueless category fits.  However, I also firmly believe based on all his comments on this forum that even if he understood Natural Law, he would reject it.

REPRESSIVE LIBERALS who want to fundamentally transform human nature and our country especially on issues like marriage, family, sexuality and gender, find that Natural Law is their chief foe.  Therefore, most REPRESSIVE LIBERALS will do with natural law what they do with biblical law and other moral laws — they will pick the applications they like and ignore or reject those they don’t.  Even worse, you have the EVIL CRETINS like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer or any REPRESSIVE LIBERAL who was elected to Congress or any State Legislature will try to remake the natural law in their own image.


I personally think an important and easy take away for conservatives from this discussion might be the simple fact that two of the very biggest supporters of Natural Law in this country have been Thomas Jefferson and Martin Luther King Jr.  That is interesting because the REPRESSIVE LIBERALS try to claim these two individuals as their heroes and patriarchs.  However, nothing could be further from the truth.  When demonrats try to say that Jefferson was the founder of the demonrat party, that is complete bullshit.  The founder of the demonrat party was Andrew Jackson one of the evilest men in this country.  Bottom-line, neither Jefferson or King believed in anything the REPRESSIVE LIBERALS and the demonrat party stand for today.

I'm not going to bother to check the validity of your supporting comments on Cicero's thoughts on all of this, because it really makes no difference. Cicero was undoubtedly an early pioneer of natural law and possibly even dabbled a bit in the enlightenment. However John Locke was the key player here being fully submersed in both natural law and enlightenment which go hand in hand. If what you say about Cicero is true, and he believed exclusively that we had a Supreme Creator to thank for all that came naturally to us, and that our founding fathers were concerned about sin, at least in regard to our government, then his principles were a direct violation of everything our Constitution stood for. Our Constitution supports both God's law and nature's law. Everything we know about Locke and our founding fathers supports this.

Gravity is not an example of natural law. It's scientific law. There is no inherent right in gravity.

Homosexuality is naturally occurring, so by definition it's a natural law. Plus the whole point of natural law is that you have the right to choose your own destiny.

Natural law plays a role in all parts of our lives and all parts of our country. To single out economics is making a statement that just isn't there. Sorry.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts and woman's natural right to have abortion in light of the article I posted.

I just checked the online NY Times and there was nothing about this Fresno shooting at all on page 1.  The following link is to their US Section and guess what, not there either.  Their lead story on the US SECTION was Trump's tax returns.  This is just how evil the world has gotten.

Well, it’s pretty much as I thought.  While you can find information on the DETAILS of the Fresno shooting, it is not front and center in most of the lame stream media.  And when it is there, it tends to be sugar coated.  Oh, if you go looking for it on Google, you can probably find it somewhere.  But for the most part it is being swept under the carpet and handled almost like a non-event.

One thing you will find, as in on my CNN feed, is that articles are automatically placed in order of what is trending, or most often looked at. So when a story about yet another shooting, based on whatever criteria, pops up people tend to pass over it because we have such a gun problem in this country. Whether they yell "Praise Allah!" or "White Power!" or "Go back to your own country!" or "Quit fukcing my sister! That's my job!" is no longer relevant to the majority of Americans. It's just another shooting.

I had an epiphany today while driving by the local Planned Parenthood murder center after church services. Christians/pro-choice people should erect adoption centers immediately next door to these butcher shops. Advertise how many normal heterosexual couples are waiting to adopt a baby and raise it in a loving home on a billboard in plain view of the butcher shop.

Good idea and it would certainly provide some positive benefits.  However, when you consider the following:

The real gain would come from stopping all government funding for this evil organization.  And on top of that, I would take away their tax-exempt status based upon their selling of pre-born infant body parts from their murders.

WOW, I was just down talking to my neighbor and it was embarrassing.  The tree hugging bitch who lives down the street has literally beaten this poor guy into submission.  I simply cannot understand why conservatives don’t understand how REPRESSIVE LIBERALS control the narrative to push their EVIL AGENDA.  

The tree hugging bitch who lives down the street is much like the EVIL Jackoff Jones.  Her method of communicating is so like what all REPRESSIVE LIBERALS practice.  Somehow conservatives need to learn that if a REPRESSIVE LIBERAL is talking, they are using the following techniques to fundamentally transform our country into a communist country.

First, a conservative is a complete fool if you think you’re going to have a thoughtful discussion with a REPRESSIVE LIBERAL.   You better be prepared for mindless circular conversations and personal attacks to get you off track should you ever disagree with them or challenge them in any way.

You can forget about facts and data because the will use manipulative tactics that deny reality and history.  They will try to scream loud enough to make some observers think they know what they are talking about.  And at that point you will hear them attack you with phrases like; “That didn’t happen,” “You imagined it,” and finally trying t denigrate you to anyone listen with comments like “Are you crazy?”

They will nitpick irrelevant details and move the goal posts if a conservative ever comes close to boxing them into a corner.   If a conservative is ever lucky enough to pin their sorry ass against the wall, the REPRESSIVE LIBERAL merely changes the subject to avoid accountability.

As the REPRESSIVE LIBERAL badgers the conservative, they will use generalizations and blanket statements to cloud the issue.  Of course, you can count on them to rely on distortions, misrepresentations and outright lies to advance their EVIL AGENDA.  And speaking of misrepresentations, they will always misrepresent your statements, feelings and experiences to DISCREDIT YOU.

But the real damage to the conservative cause is yet to come as they get down to their real goal and that is to silence conservatives.  Therefore, if you are communicating with a REPRESSIVE LIBERAL be ready to be shamed, demeaned, called names that will label you as a hateful person, perhaps even threatened and finally shamed into silence like my neighbor.

Somehow, we conservatives must do a better job of helping our friends and neighbors understand how these EVIL CRETINS work and perhaps helping them to avoid getting into these predicaments.   We need to coach them so they will avoid these conversation in the vain attempt to convert a REPRESSIVE LIBERAL.  Instead they should have one focus and that is to turn the tables on them and SILENCE THE EVIL CRETINS.

-Abolishes Obamacare’s Chronic Care Tax on 10 million Americans with high out of pocket medical expenses. This is a $126 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes Obamacare’s HSA withdrawal tax. This is a $100 million tax cut.
-Abolishes Obamacare’s 10% excise tax on small businesses with indoor tanning services. This is a $600 million tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare health insurance tax. This is a $145 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare 3.8% surtax on investment income. This is a $172 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare medical device tax. This is a $20 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare tax on prescription medicine. This is a $28 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare tax on retiree prescription drug coverage. This is a $2 billion tax cut.

President Obama said he would not raise any tax on any American earning less than $250,000 per year.

He broke the promise when he signed Obamacare. Obamacare was never about healthcare. It was a massive taxation of Americans to fund a more bloated government.

While the new healthcare bill is far from what a true conservative would design if they were starting with a blank sheet of paper, it is a vast improvement over the disaster known as Obamacare.  It is also considerably better than the unacceptable healthcare legislation that was being pushed a couple of weeks ago.  We have the House Freedom Caucus to thank for that.  Here is a glimpse at what the difference are between the first and current legislation.

Now we need to hope that RINOs like Mitch McConnell, John Thune and Mike Rounds in the Senate don’t take us backwards.
