Rocking with Robert Cray

Saw Robert Cray last night at the Orpheum Theater. This guy is an incredible guitarist whether playing the blues or getting down with rock. His band was amazingly tight and his drummer, Les Falconer, helped give impeccable timing and rhythm to the tight band with his aggressive drum style. Breaking a stick during one vigorous set, he didn't miss a beat tossing the broken one and pulling a new one out of thin air. My wife didn't even notice as Falconer was that seamless. In the small Orpheum Theater the view of the affable Cray was excellent and the sound amazing. Good time and the prices weren't too bad coming in under $50@.
