“America will never make concessions to terrorists.”

Considering all the time spent on the Benghazi pow-wow at the RNC, I can't think of a better time to commemorate the life of Thomas Southerland, a human bargaining chip used by the Reagan administration in the Iran-Contra gun swap. Southerland himself believes that because of Reagan's gun scandal he had become so valuable to his captors that he was held longer than he would have been otherwise. I don't know why Reagan's lie about not dealing with terrorists isn't brought up more than it is.
