On a side note it's fun to point out that the two Senators who could throw a wrench in their plans are both female. But what do women know about abortion anyways??

You do realize that PP isn't directly funded don't you? Congressional Republicans are trying to bar PP from receiving Medicaid dollars. Which means that Republicans are doing nothing more than attempting to control where women go for medical treatment. Especially considering that abortions are already excluded from Medicaid.
