I was more referring the fact that it didn't seem to backfire at all. I wouldn't say that wasn't in poor taste, but the R had one in poor taste as well. When in Rome....

I kind of thought that the Dem wins were a bit overplayed last night and this morning, but as I checked Faux Snooze a bit ago to get their take on it, i see nothing about the elections. NOTHING. At least in their headlines. Maybe it's a bigger deal than I thought?

I think democrats have a real problem with the notion that if you're an adult, white, heterosexual male, your problems don't matter. This IMO is where they are losing blue collar workers, whose lives suck by the way or they wouldn't be hooked on opiates at such alarming rates. So when I saw that a transgender woman won an election in Virginia, I just had to roll my eyes. Until I read more about her opponent. Now I have to say that I'm quite happy with the repudiation of his BS.

WTF is wrong with the voters in this country?!? Regardless of what side you're on, this is insane!! Why would you vote for a Medicaid expansion and a Republican gov at the same time!?!

Just Maine I'm afraid. They vote for the Rep Gov because they don't want to be seen as Liberal loons but still want their free stuff. The Reps in Maine might a well be Dems the way they promise free stuff and obstruct the the way the rest of the Reps in the country want to go.
