It appears that many of these "happenings" aren't getting to the majors in the same way as incidents that can be spun as anti-gun.

Well Mr Clicker, this was in Brazil after all. News agencies here in the US have enough stuff to cover without straying to South America for story lines.

Doesn't matter where you are, the result should be the same. The old "Use a gun, go to jail" mantra has become maybe go to jail. If there are enough outcomes like this the idiots won't do the crime. As the old mama said, her son shouldn't be shot dead just because he had a gun and robbed a store. that attitude is a big part of the problem.

More reinforcement for armed officers in schools.
