The United States is in the midst of a coup
229 years ago a document was ratified by enough of the several states to become the law of the land, The Constitution of The United States of America.
This document outlines the makeup of the federal government with the powers of and limitations of the three branches of the new government.
Over the years there have been 17 amendments besides the original 10, The Bill of Rights.
These amendments are important because they protect some of our most important freedoms.
Some of the amendments are more important than others in today's world.
During the intervening years since that ratification other forms of government around the world have sprung up and quickly failed, but the representative form of Democracy set forth in the Constitution failed to bend even in the fiercest winds.
At this time in history the actions of people such as Judge Dana Sabraw, Judge Chuang, Judge Bates, Judge Sullivan, Judge Watson spearheading a slow motion non violent (so far) coup to wrest the power away from the duly elected people in the Executive Branch of the United States government.
A portion of President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address may be appropriate here, with a modification of a word or two therefore it will not be bracketed by quotation marks.
Now we are engaged vast political divide between those wanting Socialism and those who do not, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.
What can this be attributed to?
One such factor is the increasing mentality of "what's mine is mine and what's yours is partly mine"
Another is, "you only got where you are because you denied me or you stole from me"
The ever increasing "entitlement mentality" raised its ugly head roughly 40 + years ago.
The increasing mentality that not everyone has the same under the system of Capitalism, therefore Capitalism is not fair. (hint: it isn't)
The decrease in people assuming responsibility for their own actions, being "the victim".
The movement to create an American Socialist society because under Socialism the government is all powerful and will make things equal for all.
Last but not the least, Hillary Clinton was viewed by the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives/Socialists as the predestined heir apparent and first woman President to finish the radical transformation of America that was started by Barack Obama into a Socialist America.
However those mighty plans were rent asunder by the cognizant American voter who said in one voice, "ENOUGH" and elected a successful businessman as President.
Ever since late on the 8th of November, 2016 the plan of action is to thwart the legitimacy any way possible of the Presidency of Donald Trump.

Over the years there have been 17 amendments besides the original 10, The Bill of Rights. There were actually 12 Amendments proposed as the Bill of Rights by James Madison and presented for ratification. That was whittled down from numerous suggested Amendments. Only 10 were ratified. HOWEVER, ONE OF THE TWO WHICH WAS NOT, EVENTUALLY BECAME OUR 27TH AMENDMENT.
These amendments are important because they protect some of our most important freedoms. Actually very few beyond the original 10 are all that valuable. Many of them during the great PROGRESSIVE ERA were quite harmful. In my opinion, one of the greatest mistakes this country has ever made was the 17th Amendment. If I could wave a magic wand and remove one Amendment, it would be the 17th.

The concept of equal outcome is waning rapidly as the unemployment rate among minorities drops. It's almost to the point where it can't go any lower. When the outcome is, for all intents and purposes, equal what are the loon gonna do?

Re: The United States is in the midst of a coup
Dumbass worthless liberals were pushing their EVIL AGENDA a century ago when we were in the so-called great progressive era. Well, there was nothing great about it let alone actually helping to progress things. Progressive is merely a synonym for MARXIST SOCIALIST SCUM. Let’s look at the radical changes to our system of government that was a result of these ill-advised changes.
16th Amendment – This piece of garbage completely changed the primary funding for our federal government and more importantly help advance the communist agenda in America. The Founders never intended a REMOTE BUREAUCRATIC CENTRALIZED government to touch the daily lives of Americans. The Founders believed in our system of Federalism and that the government most responsive to the needs of its citizens is the government that governs the closet to them. Therefore, they separated our government not only horizontally but vertically. That allowed state and local governments to be involved in the daily affairs of Americans and left the federal government to truly national interests with only the ability to reach to the state level in governing daily affairs.
So, just where did the scumbag progressives get their ideas that helped them create the 16th Amendment? Well, it came directly out of the communist manifesto. Take a look at item number 2 in the following:
http://laissez-fairerepublic.com/tenplanks.html
17th Amendment – This is perhaps one of the most destructive things that has ever happened to our system of government as established by our Founders. It not only took us one large step away from our Representative Republic form of government and moved us toward a direct democracy, but it stripped away States Rights with one powerful swoop.
18th Amendment – This was just one more attempt to take away the personal liberties of Americans but also help install the nanny state with elitist liberals who not only know what is the best for us, but also live in a different world where the rules they create don’t apply to them. Americans became so fed up with this silly liberal antic that they later repealed the 18th Amendment.
19th Amendment – If you want to start a fight, all you would have to do is demean this great progressive accomplishment. And while not many people would want to take up that challenge, there are a few transgender sluts who make it very difficult to ignore. In any event, this Amendment was not that big of a deal and probably was not needed.
The system of government our Founders established for us, did not include any NATIONAL elections and therefore, there was no need for the federal government to get involved with this. It was a State issue. I can understand the dismay of many women who were being discriminated against by democrat politicians in many states and that they sought help at the national level. It is interesting that one of those most opposed to women voting was demonrat President Woodrow Wilson. However, he finally saw the futility of his opposition and supported it. Now, just like the issue of slavery, the hypocritical demonrats claim they were the saviors for these important issues when in fact they were the strongest opposition in both cases.
21st Amendment – And while this Amendment was ratified years after the end of the great (or as I prefer to say DISMAL) progressive era, the dumbass liberals should get credit for it as it came about as a need to repeal one of their dumbass ideas. Now if we could just find the wisdom and courage to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments, we would be back on the road to liberty and prosperity.
