A Modern Mr Smith

Rand Paul spoke for three hours on the Senate floor in a rare talking filibuster before being joined by eight other Senators. A modern "Mr Smith". Bravo and thank you Senator Paul.

“I will speak until I can no longer speak,” Paul said. “I will speak as long as it takes, until the alarm is sounded from coast to coast that our Constitution is important, that your rights to trial by jury are precious, that no American should be killed by a drone on American soil without first being charged with a crime, without first being found to be guilty by a court.”

Ted Cruz also tore apart Holder yesterday in examination. I never realized it before but Cruz is one of the brightest lawyers there is and has argued cases before the Supreme Court. The Tea Party had a good day yesterday.

I caught some of it live yesterday.

It was hilarious when Harry Reid tried get them to stop.

Agreed...McCain was a war hero but is a complete POS. Graham is a drama queen in more ways than one.

He shouldn't have been allowed to remain a Navy pilot after crashing five jets. "Ace" McCain as he was known, should have been washed out of the Naval Air Forces but when both your Papa and GrandPapa were admirals even crappy pilots remain pilots.
