Something's wrong with the national politics section on my computer
All I see are the baby blue buttons that tell one that there's a recent post. I can't even read the thread titles.

Which browser are you using?
Is "National Politics" the only section you're having problems with?
Is anyone else having this same issue?

Just national politics, and it happened on both computers [one in Kirkland, Washington and the other in Seattle.]

This is wild .. yesterday I was going to say I could see everything fine on my desktop XP machine and the same with a Windows 7 laptop. Today is another story .. earlier this morning no problem on either machine but this afternoon the desktop all of a sudden is showing just a bunch of those darn blue buttons. As of this writing .. all is still fine on the Win 7 laptop.

I was just having trouble commenting at all. I got the normal window when I hit "Home" but if I tried to go to any specific question I would get a empty screen except the pop up ad bar at the top. Now is working O.K. I have to believe this has something to do with Climate Change in some way.

Actually, I don't consider myself republican any more but rather a Constitutional Conservative.

I have the same problem. Liberals can't seem to understand "I'm NOT a Republican!" It's part of the brain washing, I guess.

The Buysight ad running in the top bar is preventing me from seeing or participating on this forum. Once in awhile I can get in but for the most part can't. I might be riding off into the sunset if this doesn't get better. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Running Windows 8 and Firefox.

Have you flushed your internet cache files?

From what I gather, the only "bot" we have here is a google bot.
This bot is what gives us a "Google page reference". If I disallow bots, it could reduce the number of people visiting our forum.
Let me know what your opinion on this is guys. I can disallow them if we want to.
As far as why you're having the problem you're having, I will have to do some more research. I'll try to get to that research soon.
Have you tried Google Chrome to see if it's better?
I use Firefox and have had ZERO problems. But I do know that Chrome is typically more efficient and is faster on most web sites.

I emptied my cookie jar and dumped my history...everything seems to be working fine and I am not getting that site from hell anymore. Maybe it was some kind of homo bot?

Stay off the gay sites for awhile. Maybe read a book.
