Raising Arizona

Hands down one of the best movies ever produced...
I have probably watched it more then 5 times and it gets better every single time I watch it. Yes, it is low brow but is done so flawlessly with so much content. Who's with me?

I guess "Best" is a little suggestive and hard to prove but whoever wrote the script was genius.

I have heard of the Coen Brothers but never realized Raising Arizona and Fargo were their movies. Now I need to watch the others...any favorites?

"The Big Lebowski", "No Country for Old Men" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" are few others. Here's their whole filmography. Grew up in St Louis Park, MN. Nice Joowish neighborhood near west Mpls.

Liked "O Brother, Where Art Thou?". ""No Country for Old Men", not so much. It was kind of depressing....

Fargo is another movie I really like but it must be an acquired taste. Fargo isn't as comedy dense as Raising Arizona but still very good...especially if you know anyone from Brainard, MN.

Watching Raising Arizona right now with my son.
