Seems ol' Howie is still trying to get into the courtroom despite being on Whitey's list of potential witnesses.



Maybe Howie can take a page out of Lois Lerner's playbook. Give a statement then take the Fifth.

Take a seat; the circus is just beginning.

After three days of airing the Bulger-Carr feud in court, Howie Carr is finally allowed to attend the showtrial. This should have been done the very first day. Howie Carr didn't witness any of Whitey Bulgers crimes. He just reported them.

The sole reason Whitey had for adding Howie to his list of potential witnesses was becayse Whitey hates Howie and wants him locked up in a room with nothing more than a clock and elevator music to keep him company.



Now we'll get real reporting from the showtrial.

The video says it all.

But defense attorney J.W. Carney disputed that contention, saying Bulger’s heritage prevented him from cozying up with the FBI.

“No 1, James Bulger is of Irish descent,” Carney said. “And the worst thing an Irish person could consider doing is becoming an informant.”

There's a whopper if I heard of one. Money is thicker than an Irishman's blood, and they don't care how they obtain it. If you don't believe that, ask the Kennedys.

Carney grilled Katz about his time in prison, seeking to elicit testimony about how miserable he was — even asking whether any of his fellow inmates had his wife’s loving touch.

Looks like preview period is over. One of the big three fed witnesses, Johnny Martarano, is up today.

John Martorano was on the stand only three days. Personally, I thought it would take a week or more to get through his testimony plus cross. But he was off and out Wednesday morning. One victim's relative had this to say...



There were a couple of "filler days" where the prosecutor trotted out the victim's siblings/children.

Next up will be John Connolly's FBI notes. Connolly was the FBI agent who was corrupted by Whitey Bulger.



Connolly won't be testifying due to a previous engagement. That engagement being a 40 year sentence in a FlawDUH prison on a second degree murder rap.
