So, maybe the "war on women" is real.
Maybe we should just have the womynz create all of the gross national project. As long as they pack a cooler of beer and sammiches before they leave for work would be fine by me. I can't stand their constant yacking anyway. The beatches can do more than just squirting chillenz out and collecting welfare dollas.
I am not the author of that comment and will attribute it to Carlos Danger.

The women's wage gap is pure bullshit.
...when you compare apples to apples, it simply isn't true. Even the White House report: Women in America: Indicators of Social and Economic Well-Being explains why. Simply put, men choose higher-paying jobs.

cbs has a point on that "apples to oranges": comparison. Check other news sources. Better yet, ask some professional women.
Women (voters) see "apples to apples" as the same pay for the same job - in the same field - with same title and job description. Such as accounting - where men earn 34% more than women, when both have the same education, experience & both have earned a CPA.
Women do not see that pay gap as BS at all. Probably why the women's vote leaned toward the democratic candidate in the last 2 presidential elections. (of course - the "binders full of women" comment didn't help.)
As long as the republicans continue to call that "BS", they will continue to lose the professional womens voting block.

More bullshit. Although this study is from 2007, most of the accountant wage gap can be explained because of age, certification, education and longevity.
What other variables that might influence accounting compensation? The women responding to the 2007 tended to be younger than the men (average age 47 vs. 44), were less likely to have a certification (60 percent vs. 72 percent) or an advanced degree (43 percent vs. 53 percent) and had not been in the field as long as men (17 years vs. 19 years).
"All of those will contribute to women earning less," notes study author and IMA member Dr. Karl Reichardt, CMA, associate dean and professor of accounting at Valparaiso University in Chicago.

Not sure where on God's green earth you come up with a 34% wage gap in accounting as even a women's centric web site, Institute for Women's Policy Research, places it at only 24% in 2011.

Gomezz -
It (the 34%) was a professional business magazine - hard copy - no link available.
No matter, your 24% figure is sufficient for this purpose. The feeble explanation of "because of age, certification, education and longevity" might account for a 3% or 5% or even 10% discrepancy. But hardly 24%.
The point is that professional women voters will not be swayed to vote republican, while the GOP ignores/belittles this gap.

Women Still Earn Less Than Men At Every Education Level
Jill Krasny Mar. 1, 2012, 10:47 AM
No matter what they studied or which field they work in, men out earn women every time, according to this dismal new report from the U.S. Census Bureau which assesses the value of higher education in America. Attending college pays off for women, but it pays even more if you're a man.
"Women earned less per month at every degree level," write the researchers, with men's overall median monthly earnings ringing in at $3,750, while women's stood at $2,917. (See chart below.) Even with an advanced degree, women earned $5,000 monthly while men made $6,667.
The report found the pay gap was especially prevalent in fields like business and education. Men holding bachelor's degrees in business earn $1,000 more than women, while the gap only worsens among advanced business degree holders. At this level, men earn $4,000 per month, whereas women draw $2,808—a $1,192 difference.

The above is an example of what these women read. The GOP attempting to 'explain it away' will not sway any votes. They need a new strategy on this, and "binders" won't do it.

Re: Somebody gets it.
The demographics of the 2012 Presidential Election showed that Romney did very well with white women 40+. He also did very well with the upper class and edged out Obama for the middle class. Romney also took the college educated crowd but not the post grads. The major determiner among the women's vote was RACE and age with Obama taking all the ethnic groups and the younger women. All this chatter about equal pay is a red herring because without a job the point becomes mute as women have been hit hardest by the economic down turn.

Nope! Your post is mostly wrong, Gomezz - a quick google yielded these & many more:
**white women, who leaned Democratic by a 49% to 42% margin in 2008,
**Unmarried women vote Democrat about 62 percent of the time
**Why Single White Women Vote Overwhelmingly For Democrats
** Romney ahead of Obama 47-42 among those without college degrees, while Obama leads Romney 51-42 among those with them. Similarly, those without college degrees lean toward voting for Republican congressional candidates 49-40, while those with them lean toward Democrats 46-44.
**Obama beat McCain 50-48 among those with bachelor’s degrees, and by a decisive 58-40 among the 17 percent of the 2008 electorate with post-graduate degrees.
**Not only are Democrats making gains among the better-educated, but these voters are becoming a larger share of the electorate. Exit polls show the growth of the college-educated voting bloc.
**The gains the Democrats made were concentrated in one major segment of the well-educated: professionals — salaried employees
**The single woman,is already one of the largest voting blocs at 55 million, and that number is growing by almost 1 million voters a year—faster than any other group of voters broken out in the polls. Last year, single women made up one-quarter of voters overall—a reliable base for future elections. . . . . . young, college-educated women who are getting married later, and make up about 30 percent of all single women.

You forget something. Those polls never go to rural areas where Christianity is much stronger. They only poll leftist big cities. The really intelligent woman would live in the more Christian rural areas of the South, Plains and Mountain areas.

The above is an example of what these women read. The GOP attempting to 'explain it away' will not sway any votes. They need a new strategy on this, and "binders" won't do it.
The fact that Romney had to go to "a number of women's groups" to find qualified women was the crux of the issue & extremely revealing. Romney was CEO, on various corporate boards, hired many people over the years - - - yet he had to ask someone to find him some qualified women? (He should have hired, known, and worked with many during his career - obviously, he did not - & what was even more telling - he acted surprised that "they brought us whole binders full"):
"Describing his search as a Massachusetts governor for qualified women for his cabinet, Romney said: "I went to a number of women's groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks,' and they brought us whole binders full of women." "
