Hail and Farewell Charles Rowley

One of my favorite political/economics blog that I regularly visited and even commented on was Charles Rowley's. Rowley was the Duncan Black Professor of Economics at George Mason University and president and general director of The Locke Institute. I especially enjoyed his rapier wit and lightning like jabs aimed at Obama.

I noticed this summer that his last blog entry was frozen on July 14th. I figured he was taking a vacation or a temporary leave from posting. Today I did a little digging and find that he died from cancer on Aug 2.    His insightful intellect, reasoned voice and delicious humor will be sorely missed in my little corner of the world.
