A Little GLPVQ™ Jujutsu

The mantra over at GLPVQ
(lead by head cheerleader Justin) is one of daring Speaker Boehner to bring a clean continuing resolution to the floor supposedly because there are enough Republicans willing to jump ship and vote for it giving the Dems a majority. However as DrPangloss has noted, if that's the case then Nancy Pelosi should have no trouble using a parliamentarian move and get a discharge petition forcing it to a vote on the floor. I love watching these noobs get tied into knots.
For those who don't/can't go there here is the exchange:

The reality is that the majority of Americans don't want defunding of the already funded ACA tied to the debt ceiling resolution, the administration certainly doesn't, the senate has a clear majority disapproving of this tactic and now even the house reportedly has a majority that wants to take this provision out of the resolution.
Despite the cries that the democrats won't compromise they have already caved in and agreed to lower the debt ceiling to sequester levels, something that actually is pertinent to the continuing resolution debate. The concept of compromise is TWO sides involved in the give and take and all the democrats are asking for in return is a simple vote on the continuing resolution without the unrelated attachments cluttering it up.
This seems to give credence to the idea that to some republicans think compromise means "give us everything we want and we won't shut down the country". That's not compromise, that's extortion. Despite all evidence to the contrary Boehner says he doesn't have the votes to put this idiocy to rest. Prove it, put it to a vote.
What? No "triple dog dare"? I don't know what evidence you possess other than the bleatings of Nancy Pelosi or Jay Carney at the WH but if the Democrats feel there enough votes for a clean CR, then use their reported majority for the vote and file a discharge petition in the House. It really is that simple.

BabyBubbs is whining about Ted Cruz in that thread. He's whining about Cruz's large stint at the senate. Seems to me he was one of those that really supported that Texas politician who did the same thing.
Oh, and he calls DrPangolos a hypocrite?
Isn't that talking about the poster and not the topic (breaking GPLV rules). I'm sure the mods will be all over that and modify his post.

A friend of mine thinks autobubbs got wacked and no longer is there. That cold be, Drudger said he would wack more then one identity and I think autobubbs was a second identity for Justin or pips. Does anyone know.BladeRunner wrote:LOL,
