It's amazing to me that in that speech, he acts like they only like government a little teeny bit, when in actuality, there isn't a problem on the planet that they don't ask big government to solve...not a single one. The only 2 things they think the government shouldn't be involved in, is abortion, and sodomy. And the sheeple eat this stuff up, like it's the truth. Socialism is not consistent with the Bible. And neither is communism. If it was, stealing and coveting wouldn't be listed in the Ten Commandments, because there would be no need for private ownership.

Who are they? Thomas Jefferson? James Madison? John Locke? Alexis de Tocqueville? All of these men warned of us tyrannical governments and leaders. Our Declaration of Independence even calls it our duty to throw off abusive governments. Instead Obama prefers us to dine on the pablum of his straw men rather than take heed of the warnings of those geniuses that laid down the principles that form the foundation of our Republic. Just more bromides and platitudes from the Empty Suit.
