George Will's dire obamacare prediction for 2014

I am afraid that neither party will allow this ultimate power grab to go to waste. The geniuses in DC will just pass additional fixes and tell more lies. Hell, it is already to late...60+ million people getting dropped from their insurers. We have been fed the ultimate Totalitarian shite sandwich and half the population is too stupid to understand the ultimate ramifications beyond free health insurance.  This country has stopped being a representative republic and has officially entered totalitarianism. There is only one way out and there is going to be a boatload of pain that everyone is going to endure.

George Wills is right.  But beyond that, what happens when people who buy into ObamaCare try to actually get health care?  Heard today that even in California, almost all the "policies' being offered in the CA "Exchange" are either "Silver" or "Bronze", and that it is almost impossible to find a "Platinum" or "Gold".  

What appears to be happening is that the participating insurance companies are offering policies that could be darn hard to even use for the average health care consumer.  The participating doctors and hospitals appear to be very limited.  Why?  Because these policies are offering payment rates to medical providers at or even below Medicaid rates., and to make matters worse, no, or very limited, out of network coverage.  Go to the "wrong" doctor or clinic, or hospital, and it could be all out of pocket expense.

So the suckers signing up may well find that while they pay a premium and have an ID card form some insurance company, they may play hell getting in to actually see someone.  Now that is going to piss a lot of these suckers off.  To bad.  You still don't get something for nothing and it sounds like a lot of the ObamaCare policies may turn out to be coverage in name only.  Oh well, at least they have complied with the law.

But we all know what ObamaCare really is, a con game for votes from the truly stupid.

Nobody in this country as ever been denied medical care...nobody. Hospitals have to treat you regardless of your ability to pay. The rest of Americans purchased insurance to the level of their liking and expected them to move heaven and earth in the event they become gravely ill.  People who ought insurance knew they were paying more for those tat didn't pay for their treatment and the below costs medicaid and medicare rates.

Enter Obamacare:

Liberals bemoan that 5 million are denied treatment because they can't afford insurance...boldface lie as explained above.  Premium prices increase will some actually doubling or tripling in rates.  Deductibles increasing 5 to 12 times the previous norm essentially making this insurance worthless unless very serious medical condition. This is basically the same as self-insuring but assbackwards. Doctors being paid less then medicare rates are saying so long asshats so people will be getting extremely limited care after extensive waiting to see someone. Government "Death Panels" will decide if expensive treatment is warranted or if in fact your time is up for the good of the collective. The same people not affording insurance can also not afford to pay high deductibles and no longer will you be able to waltz into your local emergency room expecting prompt service.

Can any of you Lib/Commie bastards tell me again the virtues and benefits of Obamacare?

The only "benefit" I see coming out of Obama Care is that it is going to cost a lot of Democrats there seats in November 2014.  I only hope we can replace them with some true Conservatives and not a bunch of RINOs.

Conservatives will win a few seats but the republican establishment will fight them every step of the way. Unless Obamacare is completely abolished, nothing else matters and there will be no recovery of freedom or personal liberty.
