This location of the crossing is quite a distance south and west of the generally thought area which was the Gulf of Aqaba.

One thing seems apparent as the article says
This new find certainly proves that there was indeed an Egyptian army of large size that was destroyed by the waters of the Red Sea

My faith doesn't come from this article but lies with Jesus Christ my savior. The persecution of Jews is well documented and if anyone doesn't believe they have a special covenant with God then explain how they have survived for thousands of years. You are free to mock Christianity and our beliefs but a day of reckoning is coming and I am not afraid to stand in my beliefs and accept the Grace given to me by Jesus Christ. I pity people who do not know his love or accept his grace as it is freely given to everyone willing to accept Christ.

It's the lost cemeteries of Itjtawy. Suspect

Of course it's best to read disclaimers on some websites:

World News Daily Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within worldnewsdailyreport.com are fiction, and presumably fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental, except for all references to politicians and/or celebrities, in which case they are based on real people, but still based almost entirely in fiction.

Face it, you once again got duped by bogus "news" and the only way you can try to distract attention away from your pathetic gullibility is this sad little attack.

Better read my earlier response again...maybe get someone to help you if needed. Amazingly you failed to answer the most simple of questions requiring a yes or no but you choose to redirect instead. How did that voting for Hope and Change work out for you?

Funny, funny, funny.

Did you believe this article was real as indicated by your raised hand or are you just going to deny that you got suckered by this satirical article and distract attention away from your gullibility by accusing me of mocking Christians and voting for Obama?

It's really the most simple of questions requiring a "yes" or "you're a satan worshiping socialist" answer. Did you believe this was true?

Of course you were, just as the crappy satitical news story was. Presenting a disingenuous front only serves as an indictment of your intent.

The bogus article seems to be a crappy satirical jab at the controversial claims made by Ron Wyatt on his discovery of the Exodus crossing of the Red Sea at the Gulf of Aqaba as stated by Skeptical.

I believe Moses parted the Red Sea allowing the Jews to escape the Egyptian soldiers and ultimately the sea closed behind them and drowned the soldiers. Whether or not they find "proof" is irrelevant in my eyes.

Somehow, old, malnourished Jews void of horses and weapons escaped the most powerful army that existed at that time. Maybe you can explain to me how that happened?

I don't know and I really don't care, my faith doesn't rely on a literal take on the Old Testament. As a Christian, I look to Jesus' word.

Now, did you really believe this article was real?

I suppose the use of multisyllabic words might be considered elitist by certain people, like the denizens of Rio Linda, but then they also think pounding square pegs into round holes makes for a logical argument. Do you live in Rio Linda or are related to someone from there?

I may disagree with most of the Fundamentalist Christian's arguments over Creation/Evolution/dogma but I do try to not laugh at/mock their attempts to use history/science to explain or validate their beliefs. I believe they approach it with a deeply held sincerity that frankly I find lacking  in the anti-theist, atheist, humanist  "hip crowd" whose intent seems to be focused on diminishing their beliefs. But then when your arguments have shifting sands for a foundation, I suppose dispaging those you disagree with becomes your last refuge.

The historical story of Exodus has probably been erased by time, but there are those who will be forever seeking that validation. For others, faith alone will suffice. The fact that a satire site on the Internet can fool people doesn't surprise me nor do I find it particulary humorous. Which brings us back to your laughter at sincere people believing a fraudulent story. Now there is elitism and you know I'm laughing at you for not seeing it as such.
