Time to Talk about Gun Control?

I've long been of the camp that feels that it would be very tough to come up with legislation that would effectively combat gun violence,  but at some point do we have to give it a try?  This ex-NRA "point man" thinks so.  It speaks volumes that someone who was so instrumental in destroying any chance of tracking gun violence in America has done a complete 180°.

Excellent points both of you.   I think that it's time we start to embrace our second amendment right to a well regulated (and well trained) militia.  As I've said before, I think that we need to have well trained individuals who have proven that they are up to the task of providing security for the general public.  What else?

These are the people we need carrying guns.   Not some redneck with an itchy trigger finger.
