Is a Trump Nomination Inevitable?
After a third first place finish in the Nevada caucuses last night, is a Trump nomination inevitable? There appears to be no indication that Kasich or Carson will fold their tents before the Super Tuesday primaries and are essentially running vanity campaigns. Cruz and Rubio seem to only wrestle with each other while the Donald spouts something stupid or unfounded and manages to suck all the oxygen out of the next 48 hours in the news cycle.
Jonah Goldberg at NRO proposes a Rubio-Cruz unity ticket to counter Trump's 3-ring circus who has yet to get a majority of votes in any of his wins. What say you?

I think Rubio and Cruz should join up. Will it happen?
Doubtful.

That would require one or the other,Cruze or Rubio, to drop out and campaign for the other. If Rubio dropped out I see many of his supporters simply dropping out with him. If Cruze drops out I see man of his supporters going to Trump. Either way I see Trump winning. It's gonna take a bunch of big state losses to kill Trumps chances of a nomination.

I think that you guys, along with the rest of the GOP, is so far out in right field that it doesn't matter what you think. Any ticket with either Trump or Cruz has zero chance in the general election. Trump is Trump, and I didn't think it was possible to find someone less likable than Romney, but you've certainly done that in Cruz. Congratulations.
Rubio is the only candidate with a chance, I would say a decent chance at that, but the GOP would never stand for him.
Good luck.

Meanwhile fcukstiks like yourself are stuck with a soon-to-be indicted lying bitch and a Socialist snowball geezer whose campaign just ran out of gas. Good luck with that scenario.

The bottom line is there are a couple of reasons for Trump being hated.
He is a Republican candidate for President and that automatically makes him hated by the left.
He is hated by the Republican establishment because as of this date this non-politician is kicking the asses of those being backed by the special interest big money donors and super pacs representing the Republican establishment.

The Clintons have been "soon-to-be indicted" on some witch hunt or another for the last 30 years. That's nothing new. Bernie can't lead a ticket. He's almost as unelectable as Trump and Cruz. The only difference is that his base is much broader. If anyone could score a W from purely their base, he would be the one.
Rubio could honestly give Hillary a run for her money. We've had 8 years on the D side. Natural progression would shift back toward the R side. He's likable. Hillary contracted a case of senioritous and let her PC get away from her. Thats hurting her. If Rubio could run a campaign closer to the middle, there would be an R in the White House a year from now. Kind of makes this election yours to lose.
