Trump's Fake Jobs

So how did he do it?  How did he keep Carrier from outsourcing 800 jobs?  Did he threaten them with their mother company's government contracts?  Was the $7M handout enough? But...

Also $7M doesn't hold a candle to the $56M Carrier says they would have saved by moving their operations.  Was that just a BS figure that overstated their pain?  Surely they were looking for easier access to cheap labor.  Did Trump assure them that their illegal workers weren't going anywhere? We'll probably never know. Judging by what we've seen so far Trump's Administration will be making a lot of back door deals with details that the American people aren't going to be allowed to see.

I suspect that the uncertainty of the NAFTA agreements is a prime mover here. They are simply waiting for the wind to establish its direction before setting sail.

Easy? No brainer. There are places on the border that are too wild to build a wall and are not used as highways into the country by illegals. These are the areas that dope runners will have to go to get into the country so a "virtual" surveillance and interdiction system is needed there.
As to "or what", the disappearance of more jobs back into the US is most likely the most effective "or what" out there. Even one of the richest people in the world, Carlos Slim, would feel that.

Sooo, as I was saying, they were singing his praises for making this great deal with China, when someone said "I haven't heard anything about it". The conversation quickly turned to a bashing of the mainstream media and how you only find these things out "under the radar". Followed by a lot of grunting and chest thumping as they devoured their red meat like a pack of wild animals. This was when I had to excuse myself, to go find out what really happened, and before the circle jerk got into full swing. I sure wish the admins would get us a circle jerk emogi.
