Killing defenseless unborn children is one of the unholy tenants of liberalism...it's their "choice".BladeRunner wrote:But you support an American Government who allows the killing of innocent American people every day in this country.Twinkies wrote:Nope. Support Obama ?
But I dont support the Syria Government just killing its own people like they are doing either. But its not our problem.

Re: From Iraq to Syria....?
We have no idea what happened in Fast & Furious, IRS or Benghazi (after all this time) but we know for sure (100%), that Assad used chemical weapons on his own citizens. (After 2 week).
Why would he do that? There is NO motive. Why does Oblah Blah want war so badly?
This is getting embarrassing. (Our foreign policy) What a bunch of incompetents / lairs.

More and more I'm convinced that this term of Obama's is the Ghost of the Never Was 2nd Term of Jimmie Carter.

Re: From Iraq to Syria....?
CNN has some gruesome videos and pictures from Syria. They do show very well the results of chemical weapons.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/07/politics/us-syria-chemical-attack-videos/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
However after watching the videos and looking at the photos I must say I must agree with the comment of the author of the article.
Without concrete proof of the guilt of Assad's forces using the gas it would be very precarious to maintain that assumption and attack.
Since there has been turmoil, fighting and death for two years now the time for effective intervention has come and gone.
If on the other hand if the contemplated military strikes are to effect a balance of power in favor of the opposition forces, reminiscent of the actions in Libya and Egypt to put Muslim Brotherhood in power, which for some reason it appears this President prefers, then I guess it would be time to act.

Listening to the various commentators of the cable news outlets, CNN, FOX, BBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, there appears to somewhat agreement that many different groups now make up the opposition to Assad including radical Islamist elements. While the videos are hard to watch, they do not prove who is responsible for the attack, nor do they provide an answer for whether military strikes are the correct course.

Considering all the changes of positions/courses of actions over the past 24-36 hours this Syria thingy is quickly becoming, as "Gunny" Tom Highway commented in Heartbreak Ridge, "this is a cluster f&*k".
