Saw this coming back in the late 70s. Blacks in south central LA were in direct competition with Hispanics for the most favored minority title. Hispanic activism was ramping up at the time and Blacks were feeling threatened. Now the issues of most favored issue has manifested itself asa campus fight for attention. Fitting..................

There are a whole lot of problems that touch this issue.  I am going to make a list of them later when I find time.  However, since you mention California I will point out something about it.  

The browning of California has dramatically shifted the political landscape there.  If I remember correctly during a 40 year run (10 presidential elections) beginning in 1952, California voted REPUBLICAN 9 times out of 10.  Most people today think that California has been a liberal cesspool forever - NOT ACCURATE.  It is the recent browning by letting them pour over their southern border that has changed things forever in California.

NOT GOOD  --  Government handouts keep people comfortable in their poverty while making them political slaves to the political party providing the handouts.  The demonrat party has become the slave master in America.

I lived in Cali from 1960 to 2002. I initially lived in San Diego then moved to Long Beach, then to Corona. My job took me all over So Ca and much of AZ. Every demographic imaginable changed in the state during that time. The Hispanics have always been there since it was a Spanish state then a Mexican state. I became acquainted with several Hispanic families in Corona who had been there for over 200 yrs and own lands that were originally Spanish Land grants. There is more than one "Mexican community" there. Many of the families spoke no Spanish and forbid their children from using it or assuming the stylized speech and attitudes of the gang related groups. My oldest daughter married a Mexican and I now have a whole wing of the family with Hispanic names. I have a great deal of respect for most of the Hispanics.
The problem has grown over the last 60 yrs into a real political nightmare. The illegal immigrants have simply overrun the state and the established citizens by birth are being painted with the same brush as the newcomers. Blacks and the Barrio Hispanics have changed the political landscape of the state to radical liberal. Obama is right, bur he's wrong in thinking that it's a recent phenom. IMO his reason for the gross illegal importation of any group from anywhere is a simple power play implemented because the complete overthrow of the country to liberalism hasn't moved along fast enough for him. The liberal minions, rank and file locksteppers may be acting out of compassion etc but I don't think the liberal leadership operates for more that two reasons, money and power.

I completely agree with you.  Our family also is not "lily white".  It has nothing to do with skin color, it is all about culture, values and principles.  I will try to get my thoughts together on this tomorrow, I want to go and watch the second half of the Wyoming game.  

I will just add one point for right now.  One of our biggest problems is that we have strayed from our Founding Principles one of which is "The Great Melting Pot".  Toss in whatever you want, stir them up and pull out AMERICANS.  That no longer happens thanks to assholes like Obama and Jackoff Jones.  They use race to DIVIDE us,  That is the ONLY way they will fundamentally transform America.

Not a lot. I was single during that period and riding a MC most every where I went. I lived there prior to the renovation of the downtown area and it was dangerous to be on a bike at nite in many areas. There were still s lot of sailors on liberty then too and that was usually a problem in that area too. I lived in a three bedroom apt in n Long Beach with two other bikers till they went hippy and bought a bus painted it all up and went out to find a place to grow pot. We had relatives that lived on Pacific Avenue. We were out there twice, once when I was really young and then again when I was in high school. Coming from SD with no trees and then seeing all the big palm trees lining Pacific Avenue, I must say I was impressed with California. I THINK the first time we went to the Pike, it was still safe. But I was so young, I probably didn't know the difference. Anyway, I loved all the rides and the different shooting galleries. The roller coaster was one impressive animal, but I was too young to ride it or at least that is what my parents told me.

When we were back the second time, we didn't spend any time at The Pike as it had gotten pretty seedy. I pestered them to take me there and we briefly went down but didn't stay but a few minutes as it was not too neat at that time. Knotts Berry Farm and Disney is where we headed to that trip.

Well the poll was both a surprise and a disappointment.  It was a disappointment that we have so few conservatives on the forum.  We need to chase off the repressive liberals and recruit more good conservatives who we can learn from and also share our knowledge with.

It was surprising in that I thought all of the responses would either be GOOD or BAD.   I expected that our 2 parasitic repressive liberals would vote GOOD.  It would appear that they were either too embarrassed to cast a vote or they are questioning their political ideology along with their gender identity.  

I did not expect any undecided votes in the poll.  So either we are having a couple of wavering repressive liberals or we have some doubtful conservative lites.  In either case, I will try to do my selling job on why the correct answer should be BAD.

There are a couple of possible ways to view the question that was asked.   Liberals or conservatives who have heard way too many liberal rants probably first thought of skin color and that the US was going to have a growing percentage of darker (brown/black) skinned residents.  However, hardcore conservatives like me immediately saw a different side to the question and that revolves around OBAMA.  

I ask myself, why did that dipshit say that.  And the answer is obvious to me; he is using that comment to continue to divide the country.  Way back in the early 1900’s when the Marxists first began their effort to transform our country into a socialist cesspool they realized that it was not going to happen.  Americans were too moral and patriotic.  Therefore the Marxists were going to have to breakdown both of those barriers if they were to be successful.

Breaking down morality was easy for them.  They took God out of our lives beginning with our school system.  They then enacted laws and policies that undermined the traditional family.   A greatly diminished presence of God in our lives and no traditional family to foster good moral behavior and that part of their job was completed.

However, they still had to overcome this huge solid block of patriotic Americans who would never go for socialism.  It didn’t make any difference whether it was a man or a woman or what their skin color or religion was.  The vast majority of Americans were PATRIOTIC and believed in the American Dream and the system of capitalism to provide prosperity for them and their family.

The only way for the Marxists to win was to divide us and get us fighting amongst ourselves.  Divide us by gender, race, religion or any other possible social issue and the Marxist could then break down this solid barrier of American Patriots who stood in their way.

So when I heard what Obama said, I thought this is BAD – VERY BAD.  Even as the Jackass was about to leave office, he was never going to stop his divisiveness.   He is committed to fundamentally transforming America into a socialist cesspool.

Even if a person thought the question was around skin color, the conservative response should still be BAD.  DIVERSITY always results in negative consequences.  You don’t have to merely rely on what is happening in Germany and the rest of the European countries as they become more diverse, there are studies that tell you the same thing.

So today in America, increasing DIVERSITY IS BAD.  It is based upon the repressive liberal principle of a HANDOUT in exchange for your vote.  The ONLY CORRECT solution will come when we return to our Founding Principle of E Pluribus Unum.  A country made up of ONLY people who share the same values and morals will work just fine regardless of skin color.  THE GREAT MELTING POT WORKS – diversity that is used to divide our country will not. IT IS BAD.

Join the growing conservative movement and help send repressive liberals to the socialist country of their choice.  We don’t want or need them in America.

I agree in large part that diversity and a few other liberal programs have proven to drive wedges between us rather than have the desired uniting effect. I also believe that this wedge driving is by design. The Marxists in their beginnings had a truly repressed and controlled population to work with. Imperial Russia was prime pickings for them. It was a lot harder here. They had to use the plight of the common worker to forward their cause, forcing the formation of unions. They have been far less successful here as a result of having to deal with all the different cultural and ethnic groups present. Something else that slows them down considerably is the private ownership of guns. They know that a prideful union membership that has been taught to riot and destroy property etc will turn on them just as fast when they figure it out, only unlike the Europeans they are armed to the teeth. The advance of socialism here has been forced to take a many faceted approach to their goal, some of which works and some that doesn't. Even the ghetto and Barrio dwellers will not see or admit that they are living in a socialist environment. They still have that "I am American" spark and until they finally are relieved of that the socialists won't achieve their goal.

You got it - one thing that I noticed when watching the video is if you replace Chavez and his minions with Obama and his useful idiots like Jackoff Jones, there is NO DIFFERENCE in their goals or their strategies to reach their goals.

When you think about it, North America, South America and Central America were all settled about the same time.  The United States and Canada were developed by WHITE people and all of Central and South America would be considered the BROWN people.  There must be over 2 dozen countries in South America and Central America and if people don't think Venezuela is their shining star, how about picking on of the other countries.  Out of 2 dozen BROWN countries you must be able to name one where it would be good if all those BROWN people moved here and BROUGHT THEIR CULTURE, VALUES AND POLICIES WITH THEM.

Using Mexico as an example (but this was repeated throughout South America and Central America) it was the Spanish who first settled the land and instituted a caste system which still exists to this day. The European born Mexicans (peninsulars) lost power in the Mexican Revolution to be replaced by the native born of European descent (criollos) who still rule to this day. It's the Mestizos (mixed race) and Indians that make up the greater percentage of the illegal immigration from Mexico.

Your comment is for the most part irrelevant.  When dealing with the starting point of Obama's statement and the comments to date, your point is not pertinent.  I will sum it up by saying simply BROWN IS BROWN.

However, it is interesting that you mention Spain as that does tie into my story.  I will make a comment regarding Spain and a few other countries later on.  I do have an end point I am getting at.  In the meantime, we are still trying to identify any prosperous countries that are considered brown or black countries.  So far nobody has been able to identify a single one.  That must be disturbing to many people.

Finally, you do realize that your comment seems to indicate that you are accepting of the illegal immigration across our southern border.  That would be sad.  Was it you that voted GOOD?  I thought that it was jackoff Jones and that you were one of the undecideds.  For the record, I am opposed to illegal immigration of anyone regardless of their ethnicity.
