Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.  "stars" are entitled to theirs as is anyone else.  Problem is, their opinions are really less valuable than most. They simply follow the liberal "in" crowd in the same fashion that the hip generation followed their gurus into oblivion.  Why the lemmings follow the stars attempts at assuaging liberal guilt is beyond me.

I have several problems with these so-called stars spewing their political opinions.

1.  First, they live in a bubble.  They do not live in the real world and as such they do not have touch with reality.

Everybody lives in a bubble of some sort.

2.  They are NOT analytical people, that is why they are in the profession they are in.  If they were analytical people, they would have been engineers or medical doctors, etc.  They are expressives and therefore don't KNOW anything, they only FEEL something and it is usually inaccurate.

BS. You don't get where they are without being "analytical". Do you know why women are naturally attracted to men who are funny? Being funny is a sign of intellegence. You have to be smart to be funny. Otherwise you're just a clown, or an ignorant a-hole.

3.  They live in a highly biased world called Hollywood where the herd mentality prevails.  Therefore, they do not exhibit any critical thinking, only the mob rule mentality that comes out of their cesspool.

There's plenty of conservative stars. Hollywood and otherwise. Maybe not 50/50, but still plenty. The conservative mentality just doesn't lend itself to being creative or choosing a profession that puts you at the disposal of others. This is the same reason school teachers tend to lean liberal. That doesn't mean they should have to bite their tongues though.

4.  I despise them using their platform for political reasons.  They have a huge popularity and influence over a large audience.  The younger generation is particularly susceptible to their influence.  I would not go to the US Capitol in the hope of watching Pirates of the Caribbean or a James Bond movie being performed or some hit song being sung.  Likewise I should not be subjected to these assholes spewing their hateful opinions at the academy awards or during that National Anthem of a NFL game.  If these scumbags want to get into politics, fine - leave your career in Hollywood or professional sports and run for political office.  Then I will listen to them.

You don't despise their platform. You despise what they have to say. Do you despise Kid Rock using his platform to preach his conservative message?

Not really. Even a half dozen issues like this are not "alignment".  On the LGBT thing, that appears to based on religion.  So to say that religious people believe in God think the same and are aligned is an invalid analogy.

B.S. Both shows are purely entertainment. Who says Kimmel is supppsed to be funny? Can't his show be whatever he wants? Kimmel has done many segments over the years that don't shine a favorable light on liberals either. He's done segments where he's made up things Obama has done and asked liberals opinions on what he did. They're of course clueless and just eat that shiit right up, just like Hannity's viewers. He has spoken out against colleges where the students have kept speakers from speaking. Kimmel interviews plenty of Republicans. Trump, Romney, O'Reilly, Sean Spicer, Caitlyn Jenner, to name a few. His opinion on this subject just happens to not jive with yours. And just like those college brats, you snowflakes don't like what he has to say, so you're trying to shut him up.

His show, time run, etc. are for talk-show entertainment not political commentary.  Who says? He follows in the footsteps of Carson, Leno and even the not-so-funny Letterman who eventually was canned because his audiance couldn't stand his political leaning. He lost his auduence because he was boring. If he wants to enter a truly political commentary I would welcome it. Just don't try to sell it under false pretenses. Speaking of false pretenses, why put a biased political commentary on a news channel?

His audience, the only people who go there any more are those who enjoy his Trump bashing.  Tonight used to get a mixed audience that would boo if something said wasn't to their liking.  A relative who had tix for Tonight gave them away outside because they didn't like the way the opening dialogs poisoned the rest of the show for them.
